Anthidium toro Urban, 2001
Diagnostic description:
Both sexes of this species are similar to those of A. peruvianum and A. spatulatum. The female of A. toro can be easily recognized by T6, which has the distal margin straight or nearly so between the lateral and submedian spines, slightly longer than distance between submedian spines. The male can be recognized by S5, which is gently concave on the median three-fourths of the distal margin and S6, which has a short and blunt lateral spine and broad and deep median emargination on the distal margin. In addition, T1 and T2 of both sexes usually have medially interrupted bands.
