Diagnostic description:
This species is known only from the female holotype. It can be easily recognized by the presence of tomentum on the outer surfaces of the basitarsi, the weakly shiny terga with broad distal margins (about one-third width of depressed marginal zone), and the depressed apical rim on the median one-third of the distal margin of T6.
Distribution:
This species is only known from the type locality, on the western slope of the Peruvian Andes.
