Diagnostic description:
This is the only North and Central American species with a sharp, nearly carinate preoccipital border in both sexes. Furthermore, the shape of T6 of the female and T7, S6 and S8 of the male are distinctive.
Distribution:
Oaxaca and Jalisco (Mexico) to southern Arizona (USA).
