Biology:
Brauneria pallida [= Echinacea pallida (Nutt.) Nutt.], Helianthus petiolaris Nutt., Lactuca tatarica (L.) C.A. Mey. var. pulchella (Pursh) Breitung, Senecio sp.
Diagnostic description:
This is a distinctive species, similar only to T. mojavensis, from which it can be separated by the relative amounts and pattern of pale setae on the metasomal terga.

CANADA: Alberta; USA: North Dakota, Utah.
