Anthidium aymara Toro & Rodríguez, 1998
Diagnostic description:
The female can be easily separated from that species by the thicker clypeal margin and the distinctively yellowish, translucent lateral spine and medially projecting distal margin of T6; the male can be recognized by T7, which has a lateral lobe with the apex slightly curved medially, and S6, which has a small lateral spine and a medially concave distal margin. Also, F1 is less than twice as long as broad and the lateral bands on the basal three terga are broader, not deeply emarginated or notched on their posterior margins, as in the female of A. adelphum.
