Diagnostic description:
The female is easily recognized by T6, which is strongly protuberant basally, with a deep median emargination and long, acute lateral spine surpassing, or nearly so, the distal margin. The male can be easily recognized by the spiniform lateral lobe of T7, which is about the same width and length of the lateral spine of T6 and median spine of T7, and by S3, which has distinct apical brush of black hairs as on S4.
